As if Wickers Creek Market weren't reason enough to head to the Dobbs Ferry Waterfront this Sunday...the historic Schooner Apollonia will be docked near us and offering three separate sails on the mighty Hudson. Built in the 1940s, this 64-foot steel-hulled schooner is dedicated to reviving wind-powered cargo deliveries along the Hudson. Talk about vintage! You can sign up in advance here to secure a sail ($25 per adult, $15 for kids 12 and under).
Or chance it, and sign up when you get to the market. Either way, the Apollonia will be just another pretty piece of history to admire at the waterfront.
Along with a bevy of vintage cars, also invited to the party!
